We optimize for real-world speed and Core Web Vitals, which is what affects users and search. A single lab score can look perfect and still hide a slow experience for real visitors, so we don't chase it in isolation.
Do I have to remove my apps?
Not necessarily. We measure what each app costs in performance and flag ones that aren't worth their weight. The decision is yours; we give you the data to make it.
Will performance work slow down after you leave?
That's what performance budgets are for. We set thresholds and monitoring so new features or apps that would push the store over budget get caught early rather than degrading it silently.
