Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what data EcomLabs collects through this website (ecomlabs.dev), how it is used, and your rights. It covers the corporate website; the privacy of our apps is described separately.
Who we are
EcomLabs is an ecommerce engineering studio. For the purposes of this policy, the data controller is EcomLabs. You can contact us at hola@ecomlabs.dev.
What we collect
We collect only the data you provide voluntarily and basic technical data needed to serve the site and protect the form:
- Data you submit through the contact form: name, email, company (optional), service type, budget range (optional) and your message.
- Basic technical/server log data (such as IP address and user agent) generated when the site loads.
- Anti-spam technical signals processed transiently (such as a hashed IP address and form timing) to limit abuse; we don't use them to identify you.
The form is submitted to our own server, which forwards your message to us by email so we can reply. We do not use third-party form services and do not store your message beyond what's needed to handle your enquiry.
How we use data
- To respond to your enquiries and manage a possible engagement.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating the site, and to comply with legal obligations where relevant.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may use hosting providers and tools that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose data where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and to improve it. These tools may set cookies in your browser.
Non-essential analytics cookies are disabled by default. When you open the site you'll see a notice where you can accept or reject them; we use Google Consent Mode v2 to honor your choice, and you can change it by clearing the site's cookies in your browser.
We do not send personal data such as your name, email, or the content of contact-form messages to analytics.
Retention
We keep contact data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or business relationship, then delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ecomlabs.dev.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date.
