Savings fund administration

Caja de Ahorro FTMC

A private web application for running a savings fund — weekly contributions, internal loans, referrals, profit shares and cycle close. It records and calculates; it moves no money.

Overview

The most important decision in this system is what it deliberately does not do: it processes no payments, deposits or withdrawals. Cash is handled outside it, and the application's job is to record, calculate, audit and show. Money is held in decimal arithmetic rather than floating point, sessions are signed tokens, and the financial and privacy rules are covered by a verification suite rather than by trust.

What EcomLabs did

  • Modelled contributions, loans, referrals, profit shares and cycles in Prisma and PostgreSQL.
  • Implemented money handling in decimal arithmetic rather than floating point.
  • Built the administrative panel, the member views and the printable receipts.
  • Wrote the verification suite covering the financial and privacy rules.

Capabilities

  • Weekly contributions, cycles and cycle close.
  • Internal loans with repayment tracking.
  • Referral and profit-share accounting.
  • Role-separated administrative panel.
  • Printable receipts and cash-movement records.
  • No payment processing by design — cash is handled outside the system.
